The Doe Run Company is seeking a Maintenance Planner to manage maintenance plans and communication to ensure optimum equipment availability.  This position is located at our Resource Recycling Division in Boss, MO.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Plan maintenance activity with event duration relative to deadlines. Identify and schedule external resources and identify parts and supply requirements.  Initiate requisitions for procurement and allocate manpower resources.
  2. Manage rental, lease, and purchase of mobile equipment. Research technical documentation of obsolete equipment and procuring repairs and upgrades to that equipment.
  3. Act as subject matter expertise for ordering parts, materials, supplies, and vendor services
  4. Develop and process AFE documents for projects, rental agreements, vendor services and parts.
  5. Develop and process statements of work (SOW) for vendor services. Create requisitions for direct order parts when needed and initiate new stock items.
  6. Support operations functions through working with vendors to supply equipment and materials to enable day-to-day operations.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Credentials and Abilities:

  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in maintenance with mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Operational maintenance experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Have and maintain valid driver's license
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Knowledge or experience with Adaptive, I-Series, and PeopleSoft preferred
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs
  • Mechanical knowledge of shafts, gearboxes, bearings, and sprockets
  • Occasionally required to wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to, fall protection, a respirator, hearing protection, and eyewear
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, talk and hear
  • Occasionally required to use repetitive motion and reach with hands/arms
  • Requires clarity of vision and three-dimensional vision
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds
